The novel wrestles with questions of spirituality and purpose, as the characters are often thrown into conflicts of love, divinity, and goodness. John David McEntee II is an American political advisor and former college-level athlete who served as the Director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office in the Trump Administration. McEntee was asked to take on the role of body man and personal aide to the President shortly after Trump was elected. He was unable to obtain a security clearance and was dismissed in March 2018 amid allegations of gambling debts and financial crimes, but immediately took up a position as a senior advisor to Trump's 2020 reelection campaign. McEntee controversially returned to working in the White House, becoming the Director of the Office of Presidential Personnel in February 2020. Controversy increased when Trump assigned McEntee the task of identifying for removal political appointees and career officials who are insufficiently loyal, a task that aligns with Trump's focus on acting against actual and perceived disloyalty.

He is well known for being one of the first Americans to go from high school to the pros in Europe, as after he graduated from Oak Hill Academy, Jennings decided to take his talent to the professional basketball club Lottomatica Roma in Italy, leading to controversy and debate regarding the NBA's "prep-to-pro" policy adopted in 2006. After a year in Italy, he declared for the 2009 NBA draft and was selected 10th overall by the Bucks. Jennings played four seasons in Milwaukee before being traded to the Detroit Pistons in 2013. He spent his next three seasons in Detroit before he was traded to the Orlando Magic in 2016. He went on to split the 2016–17 season between the New York Knicks and Washington Wizards.
The Good Doctor is an American medical drama television series based on the 2013 award-winning South Korean series of the same name. Actor Daniel Dae Kim noticed the original series and bought the rights for his production company. He began adapting the series and, in 2015, eventually shopped it to CBS, his home network. CBS decided against creating a pilot. Because Kim felt so strongly about the series, he bought back the rights from CBS. Eventually, Sony Pictures Television and Kim worked out a deal and brought on David Shore, creator of the Fox medical drama House, to develop the series.

Starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh Nijjar, it also features Alok Nath and Ishita Raj Sharma in supporting roles and Sonnalli Seygall in cameo. The film marks the fourth collaboration between Ranjan, Aaryan and Bharucha as well as the third time Singh and Sharma collaborate with them. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was released in India on 23 February 2018. It went onto become commercially successful.
