The United States Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has developed a Space Tracking and Surveillance System (STSS) which was used to research the space-based detection and tracking of ballistic missiles. Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic figure in Alpine folklore who during the Christmas season scares children who have misbehaved, assisting Saint Nicholas.
