House of the Dragon is an upcoming American fantasy drama television series that is a prequel to the television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019), both produced by HBO. The series is set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and chronicles the beginning of the end of House Targaryen. House of the Dragon received a straight-to-series order in October 2019 with casting beginning in July 2020 and principal photography beginning in April 2021 in the United Kingdom. The first season of the series is scheduled to air in 2022 and will consist of ten episodes.

Survivor Series WarGames is the upcoming 36th annual Survivor Series professional wrestling pay-per-view and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. It will be the fourth Survivor Series to be held in Boston after the 1993, 2008, and 2013 events. It will also be the first Survivor Series to take place on a Saturday and the first since the 1994 event to not take place on a Sunday. Unlike previous Survivor Series events, the 2022 event will be themed around the WarGames match, a gimmick match first used in Jim Crockett Promotions, then later World Championship Wrestling, and most recently with WWE's developmental brand, NXT. The event was in turn branded as Survivor Series WarGames, marking WWE's first main roster event to feature the match.

On February 14, 2018, a gunman opened fire with a semi-automatic rifle at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, killing 17 people and injuring 17 others. Afterwards, the shooter allegedly fled the scene on foot by blending in with other students. A suspect, later identified as 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, was arrested without incident about an hour later in nearby Coral Springs and subsequently charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder and 17 counts of attempted murder. Police and prosecutors have not offered a motive and are investigating "a pattern of disciplinary issues and unnerving behavior".

Trump became the first U.S. president since George H. W. Bush in 1992 and the eleventh incumbent president in the country's history to lose a bid for a second term. Biden's 51.3% was also the largest percentage of the popular vote won by any challenger to an incumbent president since 1932. The election saw the highest voter turnout since 1900, with each of the two main tickets receiving more than 74 million votes, surpassing Barack Obama's record of 69.5 million votes from 2008. Biden received more than 81 million votes, the most votes ever cast for a candidate in a U.S. presidential election.

Ansel Easton Adams was an American landscape photographer and environmentalist known for his black-and-white images of the American West. He helped found Group f/64, an association of photographers advocating "pure" photography which favored sharp focus and the use of the full tonal range of a photograph. He and Fred Archer developed an exacting system of image-making called the Zone System, a method of achieving a desired final print through a deeply technical understanding of how tonal range is recorded and developed in exposure, negative development, and printing. The resulting clarity and depth of such images characterized his photography.

The series features eight unique horror stories that challenge the classical horror genre. Two of the episodes are original works by del Toro himself, while the others are written and directed by various filmmakers. It is scheduled to premiere on October 25, 2022.
